ANATOMY OF A SXSW TALK
/This Sunday is a first for me: Book reading at South by Southwest, better known as SXSW. It's 20 minutes of hip angles on The Plugged-In Manager (I'll open with a game of Hot-or-Not, with some new examples) followed by a book signing where I get to bring along these shiny stickers from the Small Business Book Awards. My quandry is around which stories to offer the audience. I'd like to offer three, with the audience voting for the one they want to hear.
These are some of my options
Smartsheet & Oshkosh School District
Providence Regional Medical Center & Cardiac Critical Care Center
Using Big Data to Learn about Organizations (Factiva - post still a draft)
Intuit and the Brainstorm Project
Hyve, Rypple, and Performance Management via Check-in.
Echosign Isn't Just for Contracts (Fun to think about how strong identity might change things)
Providence and Intuit are classic examples of plugged-in management at all levels of an organization. Hyve & Rypple open up the opportunities for the future, as do the Echosign & Factiva stories. Smartsheet is fun because it focuses on how simple technology can be powerful.
I appreciate your thoughts...
