Some colleagues and I are just getting our Google Voice invitations. (Request your invitation here.) I've set up my account and am now in the position of practicing what I preach: How do I use this powerful tool in a way that intertwines Technology, Organization, and People in an effective way? We've been bouncing some ideas around on Facebook, but I'd like to start a list here in a more public setting. So friends and acquaintances, what do you see as the most powerful benefits or things to watch out for in the use of Google Voice? How can we consider the technology, the organizational aspects, and the people pieces as we think about who do give our numbers to, which numbers to forward to, what voicemail strategies to use, etc?
